Friends, in our continuing efforts to beautify the front of our Lake entrance the Publicity Committee in conjunction with our Public Areas and the Beautification Committee has scheduled a Community Work Day for Saturday June 6, from 9-noon (weather permitting).
We are working on the Information Station/RV Dump area. If you were at this past Board meeting you saw the plans and they are posted on the Information Station.
All we have to do is outline the drive and two planting beds with river rock, plant some perennials, and trim back the holly bushes to the right of the front entrance. Thanks to Mary Bromhall’s son Mike, the areas for planting have had irrigation installed and the planting areas tilled. So the work will be MUCH easier.
Bring gloves, loppers, hoes, trowels, and maybe a wheelbarrow. Plus, of course, sunscreen and hats! We’ll provide water and cool neck cloths.
Lend your support and energies for a few fun hours and get to know you neighbors while beautifying our community.
We look forward to see you all there
